Issue:

I get the error "no PixelPosition property" when starting Analysis GUI.

Possible Solutions:

This error only occurs with PLS_Toolbox 4.2.0 and Matlab 7.0.0.

Matlab 7.0.0 has a number of bugs and reduced functionalities which make it incompatible with Java objects we use in our GUI. All Matlab 7.0.0 licenses allow a free upgrade to Matlab 7.0.1 or 7.0.4. Both of those versions are completely compatible with all PLS_Toolbox features. Check the Mathworks website for those upgrades.

As an alternative, you can issue the command:
      setplspref analysis defaultcacheview hide
This will disable the model cache viewer in Analysis and allow the GUI to function normally, but you will not be able to access the model cache except through the command line:
       modelcache list
    which has only limited functionality.
